How you prepare—and care afterward—can make all the difference. We’ll walk you through everything at your appointment, but here’s a quick guide:

Make sure your hair is at least ¼" long (about the size of a grain of rice)
Avoid exfoliating 24 hours prior
Skip lotions, oils, and deodorants on the area
Wear loose-fitting clothing
Stay hydrated—inside and out

Avoid hot baths, workouts, and sun exposure for 24 hours
Wear breathable fabrics
Wait 48 hours before exfoliating
Keep the area moisturized with gentle, fragrance-free products
Avoid touching or picking—let skin heal naturally
